Livestock & Poultry Management

Broiler and layer management — feeding, lighting, and health
Small ruminant (goat and sheep) husbandry basics
Vaccination schedules and veterinary first aid
Record-keeping for livestock production and mortality tracking
Egg collection, grading, and cold chain management

Post-Harvest & Market Access

Weeks 10–12

Post-harvest handling, drying, and storage techniques
Food processing and value addition (smoking, packaging)
Market research and pricing strategies for farm produce
Building relationships with off-takers, markets, and cooperatives
Agricultural record-keeping and farm financial management
Writing a farm business plan and accessing agricultural grants

Nigeria's energy deficit represents one of the greatest economic opportunities for young people. Our solar energy program provides comprehensive, hands-on training in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems. Solar Energy Fundamentals

Weeks 1–2

Introduction to renewable energy and solar radiation principles

DC vs. AC systems and the role of inverters
Reading and interpreting solar irradiance data for Nigeria
Health, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols

System Design & Sizing

Weeks 3–4

Conducting site energy audits and load assessments
Calculating daily energy consumption for residential and commercial clients
Sizing solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, and inverters
Designing off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid solar systems
Using solar design software and sizing calculators
Creating professional system proposals and quotations for clients

Installation & Wiring

Weeks 5–7

Roof assessment — structural integrity, orientation, and tilt angle
Mounting system selection and panel installation techniques
DC wiring — series and parallel connections, cable sizing, and routing
AC wiring — inverter connection, distribution board integration
Battery bank installation — lead-acid, lithium-ion, and gel types
Charge controller programming and system commissioning

Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Business

Weeks 8–10

Preventive maintenance schedules and panel cleaning protocols
Using multimeters and clamp meters for system diagnostics
Identifying and resolving common faults — shading, wiring, inverter errors
Battery health monitoring and replacement planning
Client communication, after-sales service, and warranty management
Starting a solar installation business — registration, pricing, and marketing

Building a brand identity — name, logo, messaging, and positioning
